Hey, has anyone tried this? Is it good? Is there RP server? YOur oppinions? Bugs?

Now in my previous blog all of you relly answered my question why Lord of the rings is scored 8.4 and I thank you for that. Now can you please tell me is there anything really worth playing now. I have tried it and felt like something is missing in that game. Graphic is good that is for sure, storyline well about that I must dissagree that is better than of World of Warcraft. If all of Tolkiens work was presented right LOTRO would have been the best MMORPG ever but since that is not the case I feel sorry for all of you who claim that LOTRO has work of Tolkien, it has not and will never have probbably, and that is not just my oppinion. I found myself very dissapointed at story, I believed that I will get true dark and depresive Tolkien experience with just a little light at the end of tunnel to keep hope and eventualy lead to victory.

Ok so lets forget about story ( i do not like it ) and graphic ( i do not care for that ) and focus on gameplay. I want something new to play and LOTRO has crossed my mind but since I do not have positive experience with it I am little unsure should I buy it. Oh yes community is not better in LOTRO than in any other game I have played but that again could be just my bad luck (beeing on some stupid server maybe). So I will like to ask all of you LOTRO players how is the gameplay?

I had tried vith Elf mage and did not felt like I was playing with mage, it felt more like druid of some kind or ranger hibrid. Other classes are, well all deja vu. Can you tell me what is monster play in LOTRO? What is it for? Does game gets better later? Are there epic battles described in books (osgiliath battle, gate battle, helms deep battle) ? What is good and interesting character and race to play with? I would like to point here that I ussualy enjoy playing spellcasters (offensive) or minion controlers.

Hi all, from time to time I check on MMORPG games list scores of MMORPG games of course. And I got really confused today seeing that LOTRO has score of 8.4. Now I would not want to be someone who is accusing things generaly but I have tried this game and found nothing in it to give more than 7.5 let alone 8.4. So this is really a plead for explanation why does it have 8.4. I see that Warld of Warcraft still have 8.1 score and it is confussing to me as how some other game which is clone of World of warcraft can have higher score than original?

Can someone please tell me what is so special in Lord of the rings online?

Just wonder, what will be next great thing in MMORPG industry by you? Tell your favourite and why.

5. Some other game. Suggest something good.

Played: EVE online (best mmorpg ever!); DDO; WOW; GW

Tried: LOTRO; RF; Archlord; 9 dragons; Dungeon runners.

Now this is not general idea just personal oppinion.

Free game are BAD games! I have tried some of thouse so called free games and it turned out that they are not so free as they are advertised. Sure they are free to download and play but if you really want to accompish something you have to buy some equipment or things like that. So is game free then? NO IT IS NOT. On other hand those compleatlly free games always had some bugs in it, technical support was awfull, community awfull as well becouse it is free, so everyone can play it and mostly it was just grinding all day long then PVP all day long. Some people may like this but not me. I just want good storyline, good quests and team work.

Now I would really love to play some good mmorpg game and here I am asking fot your oppinions on what is good. I checked some of those free games but then they were not good for me. So I am wondering do you know some good PVE game? PVP is not my stile of play so please do not post game which is mainly pvp oriented.

Played so far: EVE online, World of Warcraft, Lord of the rings, Guild wars, Dungeons and dragons online and tried: 9moons, RFonline, archlord.

Any ideas on good questing pve game currently or should I install old pearls of game industry like baldur's gate?

Hi first of all I would like to tell that I am not new to playing mmorpg-s neither I am at playing games generaly. Second I would like to tell that I am honestly sick of people who find that posting something against some game is amusing. It is not, further more it is wery offensive to people creating the game. Have any of you wondered how many trouble dev team has before they finis their title? Or how many dev team is working to create something that you and I will play? A loot. Now I am not in game industry bussiness but have talked with people that are and I strongly believe that creating game title, spec mmorpg title is hard work whick does not get too much paid. If you are so talented at creating something new and good which is better than most thing out today then why don't you gather your friend and do it? I respect every game that comes out but I will not play everyone. So please before throwing rocks at dev team try to put yourself in their shoes and think just for sec how would you feel if someone is s******g on your work!

Now, games generaly have not changed at all! from pac-man and space invaders to todays hits! NON AT ALL!!! Games are and will always be - GAMES!

I am reading: some guys have sad that wow is bad, some say it is good, smoe say that EVE is best, some say that EVE is wors, some say that Stormreach is stupid, some say it is genius. And point is that thera are no:

1 Bad games

2 Good games

there are only games that YOU like or DO NOT LIKE and that is whole thing! Some people do not like FPS, good they do not play them, some do not like RTS, fine they do not play them, but what about you? Do you like mmorpg? If you reading this then probably yes but when did you ask yourself what is mmorpg anyway. Now just for example i will compare these 4 games: WOW, GW, EVE and REACH.

Now in guild wars we have story driven experience, nice classes, lot of material to play and that's it.

In world of warcraft we have whole world to explore, high level instances, high level items.

In eve on line we have space and true sci fi feeling, good economy and wonderful amtosphere

In Stormreach we have true feeling of dungeons and dranong tabletop game

Now all of those games are different in some way and they are all mmorpgs! In some way we cann't compare them becouse they are different and their approach to player is unique, but in other way they are mmorpg games so we must comper then right? WRONG! There is not better or worse game there is only game that you will play or you will not play. What is difference in game play between meridian 59 and World of Warcraft? NONE, what is difference between ultima on line and any other mmorpg? NONE! Just as there is no general difference between any other genre there is none in mmorpg genre. In basic term that is game which requires you and me in team to beat something or someone. You can not do it alone, neither can I. So that's it. We are using this blogs and forums to argue which game is better but in my opinion that's bad. Let's organize and talk something creative like: Where can I finish that and that quest? or I have stopped playing WOW and moving to stormreach so is there anyone who will take me into guild?

That is whole point in playing mmorpgs f**** team work. Let's all together forget about equipment and pvp, let's role play for a while! I for example want to try RF online but I am afraid how will community accept me!!!! Will I find a good guild? Why not talk about that things instead waste our energy on endless debate which one is better.
