• Champions Online or Stargate World.

Both for very different reasons.  I would just wait and experience it. :P

• I'm really not sure which games will be the next big thingint he industry, because that's really not anything anyone could predict.  If they could, then this question wouldn't even exist.

My personal favorites:

• Age of Conan - I am picking AoC as my first because it is the only game in production that I know of that is really trying to do some new things, or at least present them differently.  I love innovation, and I love innovation even more when the product has the funding behind it to really make it good on a universal scale.
• Star Trek Online - I was interested in this one, big time, before I heard it was canned because of coporate jerk offs.
• The Agency - Okay, so I am a SWG guy, and really... I can't say I have a whole lot of love for SOE.  be that as it may, I suppose it's time to let bygones be bygones and see what they can do with another proprietory IP.  It could be just the spark of magic that made CoH so good.  Plus, it's al about secret agents and underworld syndicate stuff - which is something the MMO has yet to experience.  Still, I'm a little iffy on this simply because I feel like it will be more "Arena Based Quests/PvP" than it will be a true persistent realm such as EQ or SWG.  We shall see.
• Champions Online - This game just looks rad, much in the same way that The Agency looks rad.  Just looking at the games, and you can see that tere is nothing in the game to really get obsessed about - it's pure fun to be had all around.  Plus, the creators have had some pretty great and noteworthy exerience with CoX, so this should be like a fine wine process.  I just hope they do something more with it than your average Level Grinder.  I mean, seriously... CoX was notoriously bad for making the grind seem like nothing but... and it got old fast.
• Star Wars Online - Okay, so this isn't exactly "confirmed" but it's one of those things where you just sort of expect it, since no one has gone through any trouble of really distinguishing all the rumors.  Everyone suspects it.  Everyone wants it.  For LucasArts to not take advantage of this, would be just pure and simple, stupidity.  if it has even half the scope that SWG did, then it would be the only game I predict that could even come close to WoW other than Warhammer.
• Warhammer - Alright, so technically, this game doesn't belong on my list, simply because I am not looking forward to this game in any shape, form, or fashion.  To me, this game looks and basically feels like it has WoW clone written all over it.  I put it on the list simply because if any game that is actually a reality is going to be the next big thing, then this is it.  Why do I say this?  Becase WoW is getting old, and people are going to want something to play, that is similar to what they started on.  This is their game, and this is our next big thing.

• Warhammer Online because despite all the cries of 'WoW Clone' I think it'll deliver, showing it's really not a WoW Clone at all.

• I'm watching Aion, Spellborn, Hero's Journey, and Champions.  I don't have particularly high hopes for any of them, for various reasons, but I think Champions has the best chance of getting my subscription money.

If Aion has more content than I think it will have, it might be great.

If Spellborn's combat is less annoying than I expect, it could be great.

If Hero's Journey ever gets released, it should be great.

If Champions has a better quest system and a lot less instancing than CoH,  it will be the best game ever.

• Ryzom is the one game I hope will come back and truly live up to its potential. I played this game a little after its release and right up to when GF took it. Sadly this game never had the financial means to stay afloat, and due to poor marketing I’m sure most of you don’t even know about it. Right now the game is going through a receivership. There are several potential buyers, however Spiderweb International is rumored to have bid or purchase Ryzom. Many Ryzom fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation on this. But the other rumor is that it was bought only for the engine…so we wait and see.

There are two upcoming MMORPG’s that I’m interested in that promise to be sandbox MMO’s. These games are currently in development but IMO they are worth the wait and support. W.E.L.L and Earthrise.

I’m leaning toward Earthrise because it won’t be a skill based game, and I like the sci-fi realistic theme of an apocalyptic world. I need to put the fantasy theme MMO’s a rest. Earthrise’s concept is pure skill based offering a real sandbox experience and character ‘unique’ development. I’m so taken by this game I’ve begun work to establish and RP-Community – Earthrise Role-player Association (errpa.org) and my own guild, both sites are currently under-construction.

W.E.L.L also has an interesting concept but unlike Earthrise it is a fantasy theme MMO with a level based system but not class restricted. Some of the Ryzom elite community has set camp for this game and have build a fansite which anyone can visit for more information. I can’t think of any other games that I would be interested in.

The games mentioned here all sound good but these 3-games are the ones on my list for upcoming games.

• None.

AoC fails because MMOs arnt supose to be hack n Slash and they are trying to appeal to the masses and will fail surely.

WAR just isnt impressing me and just seems to not have it, allthough it still has its time.

Champions isnt really an MMO, more like an ORPG/Action and is bound to be fun but will fail misserably as an MMO.

Earthrise is also sure to fail as an MMO along with all those other medicore MMO wannabees that want to make it.

The only game im waiting for is still under Development, its from SE  codenamed 'Rapture' for now.
