Well I have decided to start from the beginning with a new character just to see how things are and what it's like for a new player to jump in and play.
So far it has been very interesting! They are still working on a good way to show new players how to do things and stuff like that but I can say it is better then it was when I started out years ago. A new player is now started at on place and not at random. At the new starting place there are new NPCs that guide you through different things and along the way you pass on these notes that get you some starter items and if you work hard enough a cool starter outfit.
As for the community, well I can say that while there is hardly no one on the ones who are on will sometimes offer help and every now and then you will run into someone who will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy getting started. The sad thing that I seen last night as I was playing is the drama and BS that we have in the MxO community... it was all over area chat and while I knew the back story for what was being talked about, to a new player it could run them off. Now I'm not saying we should talk about nothing but happy things ingame.... that will never happen no matter what game you are playing but there are some things you should just not talk about.... oh well >_<
Overall right now I'm enjoying doing it all over again... the only thing that pisses me off is doing the same missions over and over and over and over.... kinda makes ya want to put a few slugs in your head!
