Wakunahum if people got money taken for no reason and no one made a fuss then think how things would be, people getting screwed. The point is MONEY HAS BEEN PAYED FOR UNPLAYED GAME TIME. and the word being UNPLAYED. no one has cottoned on to me mentioning UNPLAYED gametime.. you seem to miss the point completely Money has been taken for something that hasnt been used. Would you pay for shopping that isnt going to be delivered. Would you buy car insurance without a car. What about minimum wage. people work there arses for as little as possible while companies make big profits. If you think this is acceptable then fair enough. AND Bane82 im 38, grow up pal. |

You got banned for doing something stupid, what part of that didn't you understand? They didn't ban you because they had fun doing so while laughing at you. YOU performed an action that had them have to react by banning you, I'm quite sure that you (could have) understood that said action would risk you being banned. Therefore you took your chances accepting the possiblity of being banned. If you didn't think of any possible consequences of those actions (what did you do anyway) then the joke is even MORE on you. Start taking responsibility for your own (in)actions. |

I think banning players and not refunding is a way for companies to send a message about what sorts of behaviors will/will not be tolerated in their game. If they were to refund your subsciption, then that would come off as, for lack of a better term, "weaksauce". It's better to draw a firm line in the ground and enforce it in order to send a clear message. More importantly, when you originally paid for your subscription, you entered an agreement with the game company in which you promised not to engage in certain kinds of behavior in order to play the game. You were also informed at that time that if you chose to violate the terms of the agreement that you would be banned from the game and your money would not be refunded. Therefore, what grounds do you have for complaint? If this was an issue for you, you shouldn't have entered into the agreement in the first place. You make odd analogies to being kicked out of the movie theater, having your license revoked, etc. and claim that if you make enough of a fuss in any sitiuation you can get your money back. Uh, ok, then, please go ahead. Try to petition the game company or whatever. Maybe you'll get lucky? I personally don't think that raising a fuss and getting someone to cave because they find it easier to pay you than deal with you harassing them is the same thing as being *entitled* to a refund. |

You sign an agreement when you install and start playing the game.
Break the agreement and you get banned. You should get nothing back. |

lol, I know only a few handfull of people have responded and its been fantastic, but i think one respondent has mentioned anything about being wrongly accused while everybody else has said GUILTY ...its just crazy. It's money payed for unplayed time and no one is reading it. UNPLAYED GAME TIME. that means "Game Time That Hasn't Been Played !! MANUALLY !!" It means time that someone hasn't sat at there computer playing the game they have paid to play. what more can i say.
