Anyone seen what Megatron looks like in the movie? I watched the writer/producer/whatever-the-hell-they-are on the main Transformers Movie Website. I watched them ALL today because I was bored at work. They kept saying over and over they were trying to stay true to the cartoon because that's what they loved. Ok... this was the cartoon Megatron. Ok... now do you wanna see what the MOVIE Megtron looks like? I don't have a SS of the actual Movie version but if you watch the tailors it shows him for a split second several times. Omg, do you remember Bumble Bee? The Friendly VW Beetle? He was always nice to people and was like the nice guy and stuff. Guess what........ HE'S A FREAKING CAMERO! That takes the whole idea away from him! I mean, he's a bug because a bug is a cute cuddley family car type thing, but a camero is a powerful speed deamon.... in no way a nice friendly looking car. Basically, the whole movie just looks like a freaking showcase for GM's new cars. (yeah, look at the website) Here is Starscream |

They changed it from something so utterly retarded that I lack words for it, to something not that retarded? Not a bad deal I say.

aye I have to agree. it was made as a cartoon for kids. You cant just make a movie about robots turning into cars and jets struggling to takeoevr/save earth. I mean....whats the point into turning into a VW or a Truck? What sorta upperhand can a ten foot to twenty foot robot get by transforming into a modern day automobile. Surely, they can find a faster way to travel and to conceal their identity than turning into a Jet, Truck, car, or a 10 foot hand gun. |

Ew..k. They certainly went a little abstract on the designs. I can handle Starscream, but that Megatron, what in the world is that?! I'm sorta hoping that's like his incomplete form without all his armor and stuff. Maybe like his pre-gun mode form? Another thing, how in the hell is that gonna turn into a gun?

Yea thats not cool, I watched Transformers as a kid and even named my dads transport truck Optimus Prime! I swear it looked sorta like the actual cartoon truck lol but this is insane WTF is Megatron supposed to be? I would have been so much easier for them to stick to the original designs but its FKN retarted they are trying to market this movie to people who weren't even born when the ORIGINAL series was going.
I swear if they leave Soundwave out or mess him up to be some freak I will not watch the movie! Soundwave was the best lol!!!!  <----------- I have a feeling htey wont even remember to add this guy ( |

They did actually. They talk about it. :) I think they renamed him Frenzy. I think it will be a cool movie to watch. The special effects are definitely awe inspiring, but I'm thinking that's all it's going to have, lol. |
