Don''t mock me my friend. It''s a condition of mental divergence.

For any game to be considered highly automated in a genre that is more highly automated then just about any other (except maybe regular RPGs) really says something.

I haven't played RF or WYD Gobal, but MMORPGs are already very automated with the auto attack, hit/miss rolls, dodge rolls, crit rolls, evade/resist rolls, etc.  I can't help but think that if it were more automated than that would scarsely count as a game at all.  What's next? auto skill use? auto healing? auto travel?  If a game starts auto assigning me a class, race and name, then I think I would have to quit and just watch a movie.

Fear most those that appear to have no weapons

I appreciate your opinions guys... we have different views in gaming... and for me it's better if a game has an automated system... Free to Play... and has good game play... like WYD Global... some of you may wish to try then here's the link www.wydglobal.com

Part of the problem is that the core gameplay in MMO is so simple.  Developers are trying to come up with ways to innovate, but it appears that it's very difficult to make a system so it requires more skill.  As a result, I think some developers decided to embrace the simplicity and add more AI functionality.

I don't think it's a bad thing at all.  It offers a different gameplay.  For example, I've been playing a lot of Granado Espada lately and it's been a really nice change from the norm.  I also really love Guild Wars and you can play much of that game on autopilot as well.  If you choose to actually pay attention and play the game, you are usually far more powerful than if you let the game play itself.

yeah of course it's still much better if you play with all you self, without having any bots or whatsoever enhancements... but still making you work easier is a lot better...

Everquest by FAR and away was the most automated. I leveled a necromancer while away from the computer for five days by parking my necromancer on a mob spawn point and mob would appear and hit me, pet would then kill the mob before the mob killed my necromancer. I only had to equip pet toys from PoK (any friendly mage basically), break the spawn once, and just park there. I also played an Iskar for the awesome regeneration.

Many people consider less interactivity as being a worse game, unless its a game like starcraft where you control 100+ units.  But if you cant control even 1 unit I would think an rts would be out of your league.

Kill harder guys? :/

I like this one as the song in it kicks butt ( both songs in both videos kick butt actually ) as well as the aoe pwnage of mobs.

Currently Playing Age of Conan and Warhammer Beta. MMO Veteran of 39 Worlds.

Wow, none of you guys must of played AC1 with Decal.  Basically Decal can do everything for you.  Buff your character, buff other people, kill mobs, open portals for travel, etc etc.  It can be set to auto loot, find your body if you die, all of that.  Asheron's Call 1 became dependant on that program to play.

By FAR and away the dumbest thing I have heard in a few days.

AFK petting on green mobs for nothing but XP and crap XP at that, means your a friggin r-tard not that Everquest is massively automated.
