People your all nuts it's just abit of fun and dunno why your taking it serious and tbh i think Forum terrorist was right cause all we do is go forum to forum telling people not to buy the game cause it sucks so SWG dies lol.  Anyways i'm more ashamed of what the community chose and WOW for worst graphics is th emain reason because people don't seem to hjave any artistic taste anymore.

While I don't agree with the people who are pissing and moaning about being called forum terrorists (cmon guys, its a joke), I agree that the tone and word use of the author makes him seem like he's in Sony's pocket. 

Giving SWG its own award for worst ever is a good idea though, that way we can see what other crap is out there in the industry.  Had that not been done, I would have not seen that many people voted for LOTRO for worst use of an IP - I never thought it was that bad, but clearly I need to have a more critical eye of it when I'm playing. 

So yeah, fellow forum terrorists, I'm with ya on everything you've said but the being upset about being called terrorists - lets just lighten up a bit on the seriousness factor..

It was funny MMORPG.com having a little fun with the swg haters. It is funny swg haters are having a little fun now with MMORP.com. I think both sides need to lighten up.

  It is my opinion that your weekly editorial column sucks.  It is at best tangential to MMORPGs and my gaming experience.  I find your editorials shallow and ill-conceived - like a college student who puts forth the absolute minimum of effort for whatever project.  I can honestly say I have enjoyed few if any of your posts (most aren't worth any time I might invest to read them), and while I could understand removing SWG from a few of the categories, I cannot understand your whimsical decision to completely remove it in the manner in which you have from all categories.  I will henceforth be automatically skipping your literary "contributions" to this and any other gaming site, I won't miss you in the least just as I'm certain you won't miss me.

  This farce of an editorial column experiment should have been cancelled long ago.  Also, please remember that this is a site meant first and foremost as a discussion facilitator - yet MMORPG.com is becoming less and less so.  Your actions are giving a differentially loud voice to some elements and silencing others.  I believe you are smarter than this, thus the logic behind your decisions eludes me.  I do not subscribe to the popular "MMORPG.com is an $OE shill" theory, but I do begin to believe the noses of some MMORPG.com staff might be a good bit browner than those of others.

Final thoughts -

  I take pride in being the first who voted Worst Graphics for World of Warcraft - good game, if simple, but I don't like cartoony graphics. 

  I would also point out that Mr. Foriter's "special lifetime achievement" award is for SWG:NGE - to be honest, the preNGE game had problems too, I think that's a good bit of the reason so many of us voted for that game.  The CU should never have happened the way it did, and the game was released in a horribly incomplete version.  It is in a perpetual state of beta testing.  To have misconstrued the angst of the "Forum Terrorists" as being solely attributable to the NGE just further demonstrates that Mr. Foriter doesn't understand what he's writing about and should thus refrain from future comments on this subject.

So, Dan ... did you go out of your way to pick something different in every category, or are you just that out of touch with your readership and the MMO community at large?

Typical. Reasons to not visit MMORPG: 1. They are a joke. 2. They will change any "story" or vote to suit their sponsers instead of showing the truth. 3. And so on...

One last inquiry - with whom do I need to speak in order to get "Forum Terrorist" as my MMORPG.com title?
