And problem is players not guys who exploit this(there also problem but becouse of players) its you damn cheaters who buy stuff from them thats why they are out there to exploit all this these days in almost everygame DAMN YOU!

HGL  also :wholeday long adds in general chat to buy currency or items or avatars that are powerlvled again they excist becouse of players who wanne cheat or to lazy to play them selfs.

Are there still true gamers out there that wanne accomplish things 100% for themselfs without cheating or is it a dying breed?.

Usually, these guilds have some sort of emo name that includes a reference to 'shadow', 'darkness', or something; and has some sort of paradoxial word like 'reverie', 'saga'.

This REALLY makes me want to join the Darkfall community... *cough*

Runescape is a good example of this too, they took away the best forms of PvP and limited all trading to try and stop RWT and it ended up making players quit by the thousands

Why would in game be any different than real life ?

People stab ech other in the back.

People let others do there dirty work.

Sso again why would that be different in a game ?

Taking pride in what you have done is outdated.

Having fun in a game is outdated its all about getting at the finish faster then the other or getting there with less effort.

For me im a gamer and there are few of us left.  :(

Maybe so but im not one of the so called new generation and be like you describe, im then prolly last there mohicans and ill stay that way even 99% cheats.

Btw in Darkfall this will almost be imposible to do currency farming ot item farming there are so many pk around farmers will be robbed constantly becouse of full loot by death:P

The community can't do anything wrong.

Only devs can.  The community is using/abusing the tools the devs give them.  If the devs allow the community to shaft me, will I complain at the individual*?  Nope, I will attack the source of the problem, the devs who did it wrong. :P

A serious dev would consider that in the player base, there will always be someone worser then anything he though possible...so he would make the game interesting and nice enough, with cool features, to make sure normal players enjoy the game, no matter what the community is like.

If I enjoy the game no matter what, the community will be better and improve.  My happiness and careful advises to newbies will be like poison to the evil dooers, especially when the noobs realize I help them and that the evil dooers try to shaft them in a way or another...now the would-be shafted noobs will be happy, and openly telling everyone who was trying to shaft him...and the community will again, improve.

A community is the reflect of the game the devs give us, and the tools they give us players, in order to enjoy the game freely from nasty dirt-foulbeasts.

I have no time to be angry at the community, for all I know, it might be the 12 years old son of my cousin who is learning life and just try to shaft everyone.  I don't want to be nasty to him.  But I sure can be dirty to any dev if the game is ill-designed.

Happy players will lead to happy and better communities.

EDIT: * With the exception of Uberguilds like Afterlife.  Since they apparently affect the devs, they deserve my hatred, totally.
