why? they exist as a way to get food to an infant. its that simple. nipples shouldn't be anything, but, u know....religion and tradition. men are attracted to the breast because breasts=milk=healthy baby=survival=the only thing nature cares about. thats the only thing that could be logically deemed intimate in that area of the body.

(edit; actually i guess that was somewhat of an arrogant thing only a man could say or think. i know women can feel sexual sensations via the nipple, making it an intimate thing. i'll just shutup and talk about gaming topics from now on:P i'm sorry)

i think its a cop-out to bring up religion/tradition whenever someone else mentions morality

Speaking as a man, I have nipples, and they are not something I consider to be a matter of intimacy.  Men walk around topless all the time.  It is "Men" who have made the female nipple a matterof indecency with their legislation and personal agenda.  Speaking from a perspective of a well known incident, Janet Jackson and the Superbowl "wardrobe malfunction" where it was well known that she had to wear a nipple shield during the stunt to keep the matter from being called direct pornography.  Uhm, again... speaking as a man... I enjoy a female breast as much as the next (For that matter I enjoy many parts of the female anatomy) but when looking at a breast, I can ASSURE you I do not focus upon the nipple and drool.  It is the entirety of the breast, or body as a whole that can attract or turn away.  For anyone who makes such a big deal over a NIPPLE, you need to sit down with your mother and ask her where she went wrong with you, or your father for that matter.
