Of course population must be decent!

Good looking combat and graphics is extra, but not necessary.

Post all games you know. I tried to make it as simple as possible...

Il start myself:

Ultima Online, Star Wars Galaxies, and Everquest right? But from 100+ MMORPG's this is all there is?

I'm right there with you bud.  Even if some won't admit it, the MMO market is complete shit right now.

If you find a game w/ both of these, don't be too shy to enlighten me as well :)

Wurm's graphics are crappy, and it's game mechanics are rough and too strict (despite of the freedom to do what you want)

Dont know what graphics you are looking at, but i have found them to be pretty damn good... Im not saying its the best, but damn i have seen much much much worse. Try messing with the graphic options as that makes a HUGH differance in what the graphics actually look like.

The Chronicles of Spellborn. Its not out yet, but you can wait if you are willing for it. It will feature housing great PvP action (arenas, PvP areas, PvP quests), top of the line graphics. tcos.com check it out.

I agree, Argentum Online and Ultima Online have worse graphics, but anyway, Wurm doesn't reach my minimun preferences about the graphics.

About the game mechanics, i was annoyed by the sub-sub-sub-menus. When i was trying to do something in the game, i must clic in the contextual item, then clic in an element of the menu, then another clic in other element of the submenu, then another clic..... And even some actions doesn't have sense at all (sorry, in this case i don't remember any example, but it's due to i'm trying to forget it)

At last, i didn't like the character's movement. They seem to be moving over railroads.

To each, their own, but I disagree with you - minus your point on the movement. They are still working on things like that, but I've found Wurm's graphics to be quite good.
