I would have to say NO. I played Maple Story Global since 2005 on and off and I've recently decided to never play the game again. I'm already looking back and thinking: What the hell was wrong with me? So much time lost on a game that's not worth it.

I agree with the previous posters: it's an addictive game but in the end it's a waste of time. Time you could've used in real life or on a better game.

There is only one word for this game : Boring

i have seen videos and been to the site before, but what i want to know is

dose it use keyboard or mouse like maple story.

I think it really depends on what kind of game do you like, in terms of graphic, interaction, story line, and etc.

If you like realistic 3D graphic type of game, then Maple Story is not for you. If you like cartoonish animated graphic, casual play, and RMT model, it is your game.

Maple Story may look like a cool game and it is. Depends how you define cool.

- GRINDING ( WOW DON'T EVEN GO THERE)

- LVL TO 70 MAY TAKE UP TO 2MONTH ( DEPENDS HOW LONG YOU PLAY)

- SCAMMERS

- EXP YOU GET ARE LOW

- HARD TO FIND ITEMS

So if you value your life don't get addictive to this game, seriously. Maybe fun but think of what going happen to you while playing this game.

I'd say just try it. If you don't like it by the time your're lvl 20 then move on to something else.

One thing I like about it is that the characters are so cute and it canbe fun if you have good friends and a good guild.

But if ur on ur own then its probably gonna be not so good. Some of the community is childish and there are some jerks but mostly the game itself can be fun if u meet the right people.

While the nx does look cool keep im mind it only last for 90 days. In my opinion the cash shop is way overpriced so i wouldnt recommend using it unless you use it for permanent changes like hair style coupons.  One thing I really hate is the fact that so many features in the game need to be paid for.

The whole communtiy isn't nice. Most people are nice but there are some immature little 8 year olds who act like jerks on it.

Pro's:
- Best 2D scroller
- Nice character customisations
- Good overview on the reactions of your buddies (in 3D it's hard to see someone frown or laugh)
- It's free; if you don't wanna spend a penny, you don't have to. You can come in after a few months without having to restart your subscription.
- Graphics are amazing for a 2D game
- Nexon will keep on existing; profits for them are huge
- Many many girls play it.

Con's:
- Nexon doesn't care about you; really they'll only try to get your money. Don't expect support; rather expect being discriminated compared to cheaters.
- Hacking may almost have dissapeared; the hackers didn't get perma banned. So cheating is rewarded, and many ingame players are ex-hackers.
- Get ready to get pushed into buying nx, your items being scammed, hearing "your mom"-jokes.
- The lvling system is childishly simple.
- Quests are 99% fedex quests and almost no exp for it.
- Nexon succeeds in making a 2D game lag, it's full of bugs and glitches. The look may be breathtaking; the functionality of the code sucks bad time. Server checks all the time.
- No pvp.

If you'll like this game will heavily depend on the friends you'll make there.
