You know, as much as I dislike the way you respond to people, I actually followed that link from another post of yours. The blog is pretty well written, and just below that one is a video that guy made that showed a lot of stuff from DF that I hadn't seen. It actually made me think they are closer to beta than I thought before. It didn't show any kind of content or anything, but it showed a working combat system, and mounted animations. It also showed a wolfman guy breathing too, which I thought was kinda cool =P

That blog cleared things up for me, such as 'why are they here', and many other questions concerning the haters and whiners.

I don't like feeling like a psychologist, but it seems i have to think like one to understand the common and notorious type of hater.

DnL is a poor comparison to AoC, however it is a very GOOD comparison for Darkfall.

Both Darkfall and DnL, went with a seamless world (or at least claiming).

• Pre Ordering before open beta
• Pre Ordering gives you a mount
• Pre Ordering gives you a map
• Bad closed beta
• Guild Fortresses for highlevel purpose
• No open beta (yet) and no, Settlers of Garneth wsn't DnL
• Beta delayed
• Features nerfed or taken away

See how pointless this is? We can both came up with silly similarities, but if we talk % of features AoC got the bigger score. And why DnL is compared to DF from the begining I've can't understand.

Compare DF with UO, Shadowbane, Mount&Blade and SWG instead. They have more in common.

I don't really now so much about AoC, crafting and such. Tho I try to cach up before release.

I wonder if I might be able to visit the offices of this company this June when I am in Greece.  Do you think they might give me a sneak peek at the game?  Then I can report back here and tell you what I find out.

Hell yeah.  I encourage you to go.  Send them an email to give a heads up, maybe they will at least meet with you.  Just be professional and not a douche.

Well, wait for it to release before comparing it to DnL and that other rubbish.

After 7 years it is safe to say DarkFall is vaporware until proven otherwise with a release. With that said there is no reason to talk about DF anymore really. I think everything negative that could be said has been said 100 times over by this point, and of course the forum fall junkies have the propaganda side pretty much covered.
