Originally posted by singsofdeathAh, the March release was announced on August 10th. Interesting--the stock fell on August 9th, so stock traders must have gotten wind of it a few hours early. Good money to be made on the stock if they set a new release date. |

Originally posted by Euthorus they are focusing on console sales because they are more lucrative, especially for used titles as pc games often have cd keys that can't be reused. I do buy games from walmart as they typically have lower prices than bestbuy and ebgames (which has f'ing retardedly expensive prices). |

More on topic, I haven't seen anything from WalMart as to a move-back date for AoC. I have one of their preorder cards that I paid $5 bucks for this game, and I am still being told to come by at midnight on the release date. And for those who were wondering why someone would buy something like AoC at Wal-Mart, it is the closest "big" store within 45 miles of my area. The Midwestern United States is like that sometimes.

It was supposed to apparently. But there was no announcement from the publisher or Funcom or anything. So I don't think it has yet. |
