I had a feeling RR was involved. I do find it rather amusing that the "owner" of the company came here to clear things up, was shown to more or less be lying / hiding the truth, and now is no where to be seen. I saw jasons post and had actually downloaded the game... now Im a bit worried to install it after reading the rest of the thread. |

Go RR go! Ride that sea of lies to the end. I've never hated a company more, no matter what you name yourselves, you can all burn in hell.
Thanks for digging up all that info Molok, nice to see you again. I'm gonna go have myself a chuckle. Peace! |

I also hate Rapid Reality. But I do belive they had some talent going for them. When you read about their visions for The Chronicle and the rest of their games it was kind of obvious they got inspiration from http://mu.ranter.net/theory/ which proves that they have good taste when it comes to mmorpg's in theory. They were completely out of touch with reality when it came to turning these ideas into a working game though. That is not only true for the people in charge of all the companies but also for the rest of the employees. I truly belive people like ceasarsghost thought it was possible for them to produce a game. And when he slowly realized it wasnt he felt ashamed and tried to cover everything up, and he still does as if his future in the gaming dev business depends on being loyal to people who have "betrayed" him. When I collected the info I posted earlier I visited a lot of website's and each and every one had the same style... from x-src all the way to phylon and the new EA... take that for what you want. I actually dont belive we (the gamers, the ones who preorders) are the biggest losers in this whole mess. I rather think its the ones investing in the games that are. Why would they otherwise change the name of the company every 12 months and make new (but with the same "feel" to them) websites all the time. I mean we are talking about maybe 5 years and around 5-7 different names for the same company and maybe 10 different websites about practically the same thing? edit: i will try to collect some screenshots of the websites im talking about and will post them below. edit 2: bah, dont have enough energy now to collect screens of their sites, go to www.archive.org and look for yourselves :) Anyway, it would be kinda interesting to get corporate info about avaria, xsrc, RR, whack, rezilio etc. Anyway to know if someone invested money in them or something?

I'm not saying that RR "controls" all games. I'm just saying that basically the same people have been involved from Avaria and onwards. Is that not true? |

Actually makes me want to go and give the game a try though it dosen't quite sound like its my kind of thing. Of course thanks to the generous warnings here I'll be sure to make sure the client is not emptying my bank account whilst I am killing stuff. Are there any old forums or stuff I can find out a bit more about the game? |

Someone give me a break please. Yes there are a few guys who once worked with Rapid Reality that did some initial work on Endless Ages to help us get it going. They however are no longer working on Endless Ages and have moved back to their own projects. We have our own team, which includes several former players. None of our team has worked for RR.
Also, to squash any doubts that people may have, saying were just RR all over again trying to scam money, guess what? We have decided to run Endless Ages completely free to play for life without restriction. Anyone can play the game any time for free. There is absolutely no Pay to Play aspect on Endless Ages any longer. All the people who pre-ordered are being refunded and everyone is welcome to play the game, absolutely free. Please try and make up another scheme about how were going to steal money with our free game. God help me.
I hope if any of you guys do decide to give Endless Ages a try, that you enjoy it, and have an incredible amount of fun. If you have a suggestion for the game, please let us know. |

Interesting, perhaps you should reccommend it for the list, then? Although everyone who posted here had their rights to be doubtful. After the terrible past this game has had, it is hard to trust the game again. It's like letting a rapist out of jail..Sure, people say that he's changed, but no one would let their kid near him. Nontheless, I wish you and your company the best of luck, and good luck bringing back other games as well. P.S. Try not to get one with such a bad past though |

The reason this was our first game to bring back was because how much I enjoyed playing it as a player. We'll be sure to buy games with better reputations from now.
We'll be submitting Endless Ages to the list soon. We're officially re-opening Endless Ages as of May 1st. Thank you for your kind words Mike. |

Noone tried to "make up a scheme" here. The concerns stated here were valid, and for good reason. If you thought for one minute before announcing you were bringing out EA again that there would be no blow-back from people previously screwed by the games' former incarnation, that was your own short-sightedness. As far as the free-to-play thing goes, glad to hear it. Good luck with your endeavors. And as mike470 suggested, if you decide to put out another game, pick one that either has a good past or has no past at all. |
