nice little video giving people an idea of what it looks like before the game goes live.

As long as your enjoying the game and having fun, then thats all that matters.

The posted date for the video is April 14, 2008, so it was posted yesterday.

The Themepark Method of making MMOs is structured entertainment, akin to a puzzle. I prefer a legos style where I can build what I want and something new everyday.

Maybe so ... still outdated though. I guess some things move faster the closer we are to launch.

Specificaly what are you refering to as "out dated"?

It being a interface tutorial I am not sure what it could look like that would make it "up to date". Unless what your telling us without telling us, is that you are currently testing the game and that interface is not what it currently looks like? In which case please enlighten us as to what it does actualy/currently look like.

Don't confuse a players ability, with a class being Over Powered.

The general elements are there as described. But UI is a work in progress, usually changing and adapting up until the very last minute. For MMOs the last minute is the patch you get when you install the client from the CDs and connect to the game patcher for the first time.

The latest necromancer video from TenTonHammer posted in another thread, is closer to the present date.

So what your saying is that assuming an MMO installs an update/patch prior to its release any content could or would be "out dated" unless patched? I guess this means that being the game has not been released and something in it is being patched everyday, without knowing exactly what it is everything is "out dated" regardless of when a video has been posted or what the content is on/about.

Don't confuse a players ability, with a class being Over Powered.
