Ive being seeing that kind of comment alot on the forums,aparently the ones who are saying that are either WoW kiddies or WAR fanboys and they arent even in any beta.Soo im wandering why people have to go out of their way to give their oppinion on something they havent even seen/tryed/heard of. P.S AoC is the only fantasy MMOG that actualy kept me playing and did not cause intense boredom after 2 hours of playing. |

Trolls will be trolls.. If the game launches and they like it they will go troll other boards, and when they get bored of it they will troll this one again and all others until they find the game they want to support. If they don't support any game then the trolling will be rampant. Just look at Alan0n's posts... They consist of 'Troll', 'Troll', 'More Troll', 'Troll harder', and then suddenly he provides videos and a positive outlook on AoC when the PVP weekend rolls around and isn't a huge flop.. I'm interested to see how many people come here and respond without reading your post, but just the topic header. |

There is no such thing as a WOW clone since that game did copy all it stuff from allredy existing games. |

Are those posts just trolls though? I have my tin hat securely fitted and after looking through several boards for other peoples opinion on the weekend I can't help but feel that there were a number of corporate threads being started. Still I guess there are an equal number of funcom's so it probably evens itself out. |

I'd be a liar to tell you this game feels like anything otherwise. If you're hoping for a new take on MMO's then Conan isn't going to bring you that feeling. All Conan does it take the WoW formula, and add some Dreamfall NPC sequences, and a slugish combat system that revolves around 3 number keys on your hotbar, and way too many shaders, i cant believe that this game was eating 1.4 gigs of ram. If all of these great features don't hook you then of course there are high polygon breasts to seal the deal. moving along! |
