I like the fact that this developer keeps "something" coming out all the time on the game. At least it shows ME that they are trying to stay in touch with the hype that this game is creating. I am looking forward to it coming out! |

I am not sure what is going on in that screen shot, but it looks really nice! Is that bright blue spot the particle that is emitted when the player's ship gets hit ot how the player's weapon looks like when engaged? |

EVE looks amazing, but I recently tried it out and the non-realtime combat is boring to me. I think Jumpgate Evolution looks amazing (from watching the video on the official Web site) and has its own visual style when compared to EVE. |

it's this way because the developers decided the game should run even on very old machines so that means low poly meshes and lower resolution textures. which is kinda silly nowdays because everyone has a computer capable of much more than this game's engine is showing. Even so, look at World of Warcraf. Low poly meshes but VERY nice artwork on the textures. I think the developers shouls work a little bit more on their graphics engine or at least the textures to make it more appealing. There is a misconception among serious gamers that gameplay should come first before the graphics. I think this is craptalk. There should be good graphics and good gamplay too.
