they're crazy about starcraft... In america chicks dig football players In korea chicks dig starcraft players :P Koreans are obsessed with starcraft, for eg. here's what they find cool and funny : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rx4sOAt2EPM
EDIT: Remarkably enough, the life of a celebrity StarCraft player is no different from any other kind of star o0 source: http://www.gaming-age.com/cgi-bin/specials/special.pl?spec=koreangaming1&pagenum=1 you might find more about popular korean games in the link above. |

I agree about Aion. That game is on my must play list. SP1 looks good too! It probably wont be out in America any time soon, tho. Twelve SKy 2, havent really looked at it, but the first one looks horrible |

You can say for sure that Starcraft is a big hit in Korea. Did you knew they even broadcast Starcraft matches in the malls. So if you're buying a pair of socks you can look at the live report of some korean starcrafter. Guild wars is a very popular game aswell in korea and japan. If you look at the top guilds you will notice alot of Japanese/Korean guilds in the rankings. Korean people also love asian grinders. I would say these three are the most popular: Scions of Fate, Maplestory, Fly for Fun. Korean people just love doing brainless stuff. |
