Fair enough they want everything perfect and ready. But way to go and announce it on the day of beta launch.

You'd think they could have updated the game within the last week, you know, in the time we've all been waiting, not being able to play?  I mean, I'm going to work.. so it won't bother me too much.  But still, they've already patched it about 6 times so far, and the servers aren't even up.

The fact is we were told a certain time. And yet they keep informing us with times that are not even precise.

What about people who have plans? Not all people can work around every time you know.

Seriously? You're kidding right? I tell you what. If you're sick of hearing about delays, stop reading MMO sites and just wait until games shows up on the shelf at your local game distributor. Look at the pretty artwork on the box and decide if you want to play the game. Beta means they're still working out bugs. Beta happens. If you are so sick of hearing about it, stop listening for it.

They were working on updates until the last minute and realized that they needed more time at the last minute.  There is nothing we can do about it but wait until they get it updated the way they want.  The more time they spend patching now the better it will be at launch.

LOTRO patched 1.07 live today. Guess what, they had a 2 hours extra delay to their scheduled maintenance. It's the nature of the beast and you'd better get used to it ;)

Someone who is looking forward to play AOC has canceled certain plans in order to play the game.

Client downloaded and patches are applied. Ready for action. Then Suddenly no AOC for another 7 hours.

Your missing the point. Fair enough Bugs happen. But last minute seems a bit odd. They then say the time will be 20:00Gmt and now its 22:00.Gmt. All Im saying is they should have given more notice when  precisely  the Open Beta starts.
