Yes sir, take this as a learning experience. Don't cancel any plans for a new MMO (you didn't, but for anyone else, a nice tip), and don't expect everything to be reliable or set in stone especially on the start of open beta. Also, the company tries to tell you, but don't expect them to give you absolutely perfect estimations on downtime. When I read this title I thought they were delaying the actual game, but since they're not, this is just something that you should expect in all MMOs. |

So it begins, the Funcom AoC experience. Believe it or not a f2p host would not have done such a thing like delay OB by seven hours giving a very short notice. So I would say right now the customer service is worse then a f2p game. Like someone else mentioned. Couldn't they have done this update last week? Maybe do what the rest of us do in the face of a deadline and work overtime? I guess this means I won't be able to start playing until tommorrow cause I work when the game will start open beta service. First impressions tell people alot, and right now its telling people that the game may not be available for long periods of time with last minute announcements. |

As i mentioned in another thread, this is just how poor Funcom handles about everything and as well did so in the 12month of beta i've been in. Better get used to it. You guys should have known when you got the facts of how Funcom managed this joke of an "open" beta in general. |

There's nothing to hate about them. You either like a particular game and play it, or you don't. Simple as that. There's NO perfect game or gaming company in the world and there probably won't ever be. |

Well next time don't skip school or call in sick for work and it won't seem like a big deal. |

Originally posted by COORSKind of funny how easily people use "hate" these days. Complaining and finding faults are more accurate. Unless you want to rip their heads off and throw their bodies in an acid pit, you don't really "hate" them. It's a strong word that's being tossed around too easily. Plus, it's easy to complain, and it makes you feel better, so we all need to get used to it

has anyone thought that maybe the reason for the delay happened all of a sudden and as soon as they found out about it they delyad the OB and told everyone? i kinda feel bad for funcom. it seems like alot of people just want to bash them for some reason |
