I think the rank count as your activeness on the forum and how long your post are. They don't do anything as far as I know except show your dedication to mmorpg? |

I'm an administrator on another gaming site and we have a similar ranking system as MMORPG.com. On my site, the moderators and administrators award points to each user as they see fit. So, if your posting is informative I might give you three points but if most of your comments are just "lol" or "yeah, what he said" then I might deduct points. At a certain point level, you will gain a new "rank" or title. So, for example, zero points could equal a "Rookie" rank and five hundred will get you a "Veteran" rank. Administrators can also create unique titles; we do that for contests on my site or give them as rewards for really helpful players. |

I sell my stars on the black market. IN the end, it means nothing. The titles and stars should be the last thing you look at. content of the message always takes priority. After reading a message and IM a bit confused or suspicious, I generally look at the post number...if its under 50...I disregard what I just read.
Now, my 100/100 star rank implies two things
