My problem, game non withstanding, is that haters will be haters, fanbois will be fanbois. Excuses on both sides are rediculous.

Fanbois

-It's only beta, its supposed to be buggy

-wait till the next patch/build/etc....things will be better

-game gets better after level XX

Haters

-it's a wow clone

-It's a button masher

-OMG this game sux

just some generic responses. The game will either make money or it wont, and either you will enjoy the game or you wont. I don't listen to half of the above groups because both are biased. I prefer to try it out myself to see if it fits MY gamestyle.

as a personal note: It doesn't so far, but will try it again after release, and when the bugs are squished (hopefully) to get a better feel

Trolls, start finding different reasons please. When this game pops up in retail I'm going to be happily playing and I bet that you'll buy the game yourself aswell, because as it is right now you have no sound proof that this game is going to suck on retail.

 

Its like this everywhere. People find stuff to critizise for some wierd reason. Its like those fanboi/hater wars, allthough to call them wars is an insult to every war that have been fought, both verbally and physically. They are more like childish tantrums. Have fun at their expense and bait em to act stupid on the forum

Personally i expected the game better and as my pc plays ok Crysis i din't expect to have problems in this game i cannot run it in high in any resolutions so i run it in medium with 40fps average.

The game has lot potential and seems to me it needs alot of polishing still some animations are missing and some others don't look natural.

Overall i like the game lot and i hope i will get something even better on release.

Personal i will not tell to anyone to buy or not and those who says are ignorants and i don't get the reason to do so, everyone here can judge a game by them selfs they don't need help lol.

I Like the game i think combat is something new that i need get used to it and i pre-order and im not canceling. :)

I just expect Funcom to get in berserker mode fixing bugs until and after release :)

The OP is wasting his/her time.

People are fickle by nature, and will not properly inform themselves. This isn't a gaming-related phenomenon either; ask their opinion on politics and see where that gets you.

Those who are convinced the game will suck will not have their minds changed. If the game's truly as good as the claims, they will in-fact get the game after a few months, if even that long.

If they don't get the game, then you're better off, as they probably wouldn't shut up about the game's issues while playing anyway.

Finaly some reason; I agree completly if you dont like it dont play it, if you do then good for you but there is no reason to start a flame war other than the twisted joy you get by anoying others or being anoyed by others.

Yes I hear a lot of the "recycled and uninformed excuses" the orignal poster is talking about and I hear them on both sides of the line. It seems that many dont give a rats fuzzy  about game they just want to argue over somthing.

Edit: So where exactly have I Trolled the AoC forums? I ask people to be patient, follow reason, and not bash other games. If that is your definition of a troll, then so be it. Maybe the reason it is under my name is due to an inside joke.
