Age of Conan

I have played the game for two days now, and I know theres many of you that swear this game is great, and the problems are being caused by this or that, but I am done.  Performance is awful, Content is boring, and I don't know if its just me but I don't pay for MMOs when they are secretly single player games in disguise. "revolutionary combat" = you have too mash 3 buttons instead of 1. I mean COME ON are people accually gonna pay for this? As far as the graphics, people don't always understand that sometimes less is more. Loading times are terrible, I mean REAL bad. The games story isn't bad but thats the only thing I think the game has. Sorry for blabbing but I had to get it out.

It makes me mad that the people that still buy and subscribe to these unfinished, half arse games. It just allows different companies to release utter crap.

See ya in Warhammer, hopefully a game where someone gives a crap.

Clearly your 13 levels of stress testing warrant a valid opinion of a game.

I mean COME ON people that buy this kinda "review" are completely ignorant to the fact that if they were playing WoW they'd be heroic striking 3000 times and killing harpies over and over and we all know...that right there is all that wow has to offer amirite.

Just uninstall it and walk away, as you wait for your warhammer.  We can live without your opinion I think.

A game that doesn't get you hooked at the start is not going to do well long term.

Saying it doesn't start 'til level 20 is conceding the point.

Your view of WoW is really not that far off from AoC except instead of heroic striking, your pressing 3 buttons over and over and over, give it up the game is trash.

I have a half decent computer and it runs like a dream for me... a little lag every now and then in a populated area but nothing i havn't experienced in other games. Loading times are 30seconds at most for me also nothing i can't handle. I for one am enjoying the lore and the combat and am looking forward to see how this will progress pass 13. Not having any of the problems the above user posted. I am playing on a pc 2.4 core 2 8800gts 2 gig of ram settings on high (except shadows) 1680x1050 and probably average of 20-30 fps more towards 20 in tortuga.

My friend BTW had similar problems to the OP but some tweaking of settings and an updated driver fixed in completely.

Your obviously a WAR fan....If you have made up your mind with in 2 days of BETA TESTING then YOU FAIL.

too bad, so sad. My longest loading screen was 30 seconds.

Though I do wish combat was more like Oblivion. I like 'swinging the mouse' like a sword.
