They are not very optimised at all because of all the different hardwarre configuratiosn that need to be supported. I don't care if the platform is PS3, 360, or PC if a developer is prioritising quality before performance then they are making mistakes. Performance should always come first, when that is sorted then you can work on quality. Plus PC gamers and Console gamers will not be on the same servers so if the 360 has a shorter clipping distance then it won't matter because all the 360m players will have that short distance. Unlike on PC where people with high end rigs will have advantages over guys with low to mid range rigs bevause of the amount of features they can run like high clipping distances. |

At the moment yes, Nvidia have the best performing cards. However i would steer clear of their nForce chipsets and SLi, the 680i and 780i are jokes. I have an Asus Striker Extreme and it's a buggy piece of shit, i replace it with an MSI P7 DIamond 780i and it doesn't work for shit either so i'm now going with an Asus Rampage Formula x48, it's Crossfire which means no SLi but hey atleast Intel chipsets are stable. Compared to the 8 series, ATi's last two series of cards were pretty lacklustre (mainly due to lack of developer support) but apparently the 4 series is meant to be pretty good. It's forced Nvidia to accelerate the launch of their GT200 based chips, so hopefully we'll see a competetive Ati again whcih will mean good prices for both Nvidia and ATi users. |

Get more RAM, at least a gigabyte more. Upgrade your GPU; a 9600XT won't cut it. |

No offensive, but most new games would run like garbage on your computer.. Don't point your finger at AoC go load up Supreme Commander 3v3 or 4v4 then come back. |
