Okay been playing EvE recently and love it, been playing it off and on for about a year and some change. I now crave some sword action and first instict was to go back to WoW.

Then i realized I left because of lack of world PvP... BG was sort of fun but kinda felt useless and didnt really make sense why I was playing "war games" with the enemy. I used to love playing on a RP-PVP server and joining pick up raids, as leaders did call for arms to raid the enemy towns.

While I dont abosolutley need open world FFA pvp, I would like some PvP where I can get immersed into. So far I have only found DAOC, the whole realm vs realm and the combat actually effecting the world seems cool.

Any other MMOs?

This should probably have been posted in the LF Game section.

But i would like to recommend Flyff. It has a friendly community and definately has pvp.

If you want to base your whole gameplay on pvp you can start a character in the pvp/pk server.

If not you can start a character in a normal server and then once you hit level 15 you can go to the arena and fight other players.

flyff.gpotato.com

Make sure you don't type www. in front of the url as it will not work

Having played Flyff quite a bit myself, I wouldn't recommend it. Trust me...going from Eve to Flyff is going to be a huge lowering of the bar quality-wise. There are basically no quests in the latter - probably around 10 in total that are very easy to finish. The quests that are there are in Engrish too.

So basically you'll be playing a grind. Don't let the funky music in the first 10 levels fool you into thinking you've got an amazing game ahead.

I agree with you totally here. Tbh the first 15 levels until you get your first job change is just as bad grinding as when your level 40+. I have not played Eve online though so i dont know at what standards he is expecting the game to be :)

I didn't mind the first 15 levels of grind actually. I didn't really notice them because they went by so quickly and I was enjoying discovering the world. Then bam you suddenly realise you're in for some hard work ahead.

Aha I agree. I myself chose the Full dex acro approach to the game and ended up getting owned until level 45 when your attack speed and critical start to rise a lot :)
