WAR (Warhammer Online)

Well it seems now that anyone who has an issue with AoC is automatically a WAR or WoW fanboy and therefor WAR and WoW are for kids according to all the various posts on the AoC forums (ironic since they turn around and make the same baseless claims about either game). I suppose alot of people find it hard to understand how to post their opinions and/or how to respond to people's opinions...

I have been supporting both games, but it is starting to get ridiculous on these boards with all the "my game is better than your game crap" that is going on in every forum. To me its like one giant fight at the nursery school over who has the coolest sippy cup.

The ironic part is most of the bashing I see taking place on the AoC forums are from former AoC fans who no longer like the game and have immediately become WAR fans (I understand you don't like the game you have been following, but move on if you like, dont stoke the fires). This has all gotten rather ludicrous and insane. I now understand why I see fewer and fewer familar names posting around here nowadays. I suppose I should follow their examples and just pass over these forums for the time being.

On a side note (to give this thread relevance to WAR), how many of you plan to scream WAAAGH! when you charge into battle?

I for one will yell till I get either kicked off voice chat or my mic explodes!

You know, this happens with games people can't run on 5 year old WOW machines, and for those jumping from AoC to Warhammer thinking they will get 50-70 fps in the game on their 6800 vid cards, think again.

These same individuals will be complaining and muffling about how Warhammer sucks due to the lag they get when 50-60 bodies are on their screen. I wouldn't try to cure any afflictions on the internet man as it will do no good " I still think Vanguard is a suck ass game and will be for the next 3 years".

    Well i'm not reading glowing reviews about AoC since open beta started.  I was thinking i'd play both games also, however I remember this from previuos beta's i'd played where your like it has to get better.

    Anyway off the subject there.  Your always gonna have die hard fanboys that will post on the wrong forums.  Its just the nature of the beast, or MMo, in this case.  I know this though if AoC does fail and i have no idea how it plays cause i'm not in beta alot of people are gonna swamp Warhammer online that thought it was a kids game.

It seemed pretty much a veiled attempt to do exactly what the OP was supposed to be complaining about.. oddly enough.

Kind of funny considering they're not letting anyone with a subpar computer in the beta right now so err... no, nice try.

...Oh, can people please stop posting about how well (or not so well) the game will run if you know absolutely nothing and are just getting these ideas randomly from your head. No one knows how well the game will run yet, not even those in closed beta, there's lots of work to be done yet lot's of things to be added, tweaked, etc... so please, stfu. ;)

There are other ways to see it then CB :) i ve seen a older machine run it s client.
