This topic could just as well apply to the other side.

It would be totally awesome if people stopped generalizing and began to see that things are different for each and every one of us. Be that technical or personal preference.

But...meh, I'm dreaming a dream here.

No, it might not be a point of 'crap' systems, but its most likely a problem that lies with the users machine, and not the game itself.

Since many players are having no problems, (I myself had very few) then we can assume that the error lies in other machines, and needs corrected.

Could be a variety of reason for incompatibility (few of today's generation remember the efforts we used to go through to get games to run under DOS in the late 80's and early 90's)

I have no doubt some people are having issues, but they need to be patient and realize the problem most likely can be resolved on their end.

Yes...it is totally system related. I have 3 varying systems in house...and all 3 are now running the game good or awesomely (E8400 Wolfdale with an 8800GT and X-Fi with 4 gigs)..I also had a trouble one...made some adjustments and bam...it works now...

Not one crashes...and believe me...if I was having an issue...the whole forum would know

You are inadvertantly saying that no matter what FC do, the release client will run as badly for those users.

But that asside, the point of my topic was to point out that if you suggest that the client runs poorly on a good system spec, you are often branded a liar.

Luckily it is not...and will not be a disaster...I know it works...and with varying degrees of hardware...just takes a little work...and patience...

umm i didint bother reading through all of theser threads but just to let folks know who might be suffering graphics problems one thing i found works really well,

turn down vuew distance to 500 k, every time i turned there was a atrocious lag spike and my system isnt a slouch by any means

im running amdx2 6000

4 gb ram

8800 gtx with 748 mb ram (evga)

evga 590 sli board

1000 watt bfg power supply 22inch lcd monitor

i tried almost everything and found this works great along with turning off bloom.
