Hello everyone!

I'd like to know, as my Xfire profile won't lie  I played WoW a lot, and yes, i finnaly realised i've wasted my time...by trying LOTRO, i realised that other games have something to offer me still, wich WoW couldnt, this happened to be LOTRO, yes i am getting real deep into this game, and i'd like to stay on it, but then agian, AION seems to be a VERY nice game that will come out soon, is it worth it to buy a LOTRO game, and pay monthly until AION? Or i should stay on WoW? Most of my friend stopped WoW, none play LOTRO, but they all awaiting for AION, what should i do?

i know this is very confusing  But id really need help, LOTRO Seems really good, AION too, WoW Has nothing to offer me, i am geared, epic flying mount etc etc, I just wanna do something else! Help me out please!

...When its time for your character to take a well deserved rest...

My opinion...is your thinking too hard.

you like LOTRO..play LOTRO. Dont worry about the future, these games are for the here and now.

Worry about AION when AION comes out.

Good Luck

I agree LOTRO is a great game. If you are having a great time playing that, then you should do so.

There is PVP in a sense. Its called Monster Play. When you reach level 10 on your main char it unlocks monster play on your account. You can then pick a monster to play as. They will be level 50 and you do quests with them to get points to spend on new skills etc. In this PvMP zone only regular chars over level 40 can enter. So as a monster you have a PvE side and Pvp. Same if you are a player char, there are quests here to do for them as well.

Is it over yet...

It definitely isnt for everyone. Personally I love going out as a warg and stalking my prey. It feels more like your playing a seperate game of lotro from a different perspective to me. It definitely isnt the rip roar 2 side battle you see in some mmorpgs but thats what makes me like it

I'd say play LOTRO unitl Aion comes out. Not sure when Aion is releasing so waiting for it alone wouldn't be too smart. Also Aion is on the top of my mmo list this year. So I suppose I'll see ya there someday!

If you are a PvP fan, I would say LOTRO is probably not the best game for you. Although there is PvP (of sorts) it is quite limiting and more like an aside from the game

I just dont want to get too much into the game....so when AION comes out i am left alone on LOTRO while my friend plays AION, thats the thing, so far im getting into it REALLY much, and about PVP, ive been doing PVP only in WoW, since PVE we more like....farm farm farm and change epic from epic....and so on

If life is but a dream, then why must we row so hard?

AION seems like a completely different game from LOTRO, if you like the rings game, you may not like AION.

With PvE raiding, it has never been a question of being "good enough". I play games to have fun, not to be a simpering toady sitting through hour after hour of mind numbing boredom and fawning over a guild master in the hopes that he will condescend to reward me with shiny bits of loot. But in games where those people get the highest progression, anyone who doesn't do that will just be a moving target for them and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay money for the privilege. - Neanderthal
