Using the wrong model number its W2252TQ  That is if your having trouble finding the drivers.

Sry had a typo on the model but ive tried on the correct numbter to update the monitor to run the setting but still cant get it.  The best I can do is 1600x1024.  Anyone know y i cant get it to the max setting for my monitor.  Ive tried mostly all the drivers and have yet to find the correct one.  Ive even tried ones that  ppl with the same card says that resolution comes with and still no luck.  Any luck would be great plz

How very odd. What is your computer (and 8800GT) registering the monitor as? It could be faulty hardware or the incorrect drivers installed.

Hello, it says my monitor is a generic non-PnP monitor on a 8800 gt.  Hope that helps

It doesn't appear your monitors drivers are taking effect.  I would contact LG Support.  If it was then your video card would say what the monitor is.

Be afraid, very afraid.

You need the proper monitor driver installed, go to the monitor manufacturers web site and get the correct driver for your monitor.

If it was not for men, we all would still be trying to hit a deer in the head for food!

It should tell you the max setting when you pluged in your monitor.

Should of said something like this  ; for best veiwing change rez.  to this  yes or no.

Also if you got your refresh rate to high it will not work for that rez!

Yep noticed when I turned the computer on it says for maximum visuals turn it to 1680x1050.  So I was toying around with it and found that if i unchecked the box marked under graphics display named " hide modes that this monitor cant display".  So i unchecked it then bam I was able to set my graphics to 1680x1050.  Now the only problem is I cant get that same resolution in Age of Conan.  Im still stuck ingame with a 1600x1024.  Im not even sure if I was supposed to uncheck that box or not but my monitor still says in a generic pnp.  Any help would be great with this.  Thanks
