I was wondering if anyone here could answer a few questions about this game. graphics look good.. and I <3 violence so I am wondering if it has everything I am looking for to offer in a game . 1. Is it open pvp full loot or are there areas for pvp? can someone elaborate on the pvp in this game? 2. does it offer noncombat related things to do? Is there more to the game than just fighting? 3. I see there are classes.. which I am not a big fan of but can suffer through it depending on the customizationh of those classes. How customizable are the classes? 4. Are there player made items? Can you build or create stuff in the game that your player uses? 5. Player freedoms.. how limited are player choices? 6. Is there going to be a monthly fee or a cash shop? If so what price range? I am sure i will have more questions eventually but these are at the top of my list. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

Originally posted by deviliscious1. There are PvP Servers where you basically have FFA PvP except in "Hubs" big cities and the like. Apart from this there are the Borderlands, which are a PvP Only zone even on the PvE Servers and where the Sieges will take place.
2. There -IS- a simple Crafting system in place. Crafting progression is quest based, which is possibly the only somewhat new thing in the system.
3. Classes are customizeable with Talents starting at Level 10. Think WoW Talent Trees with, I would say, a little more diversity to it. How different builds can be, I can not tell you yet.
4. As I said, crafting is in game and supposedly, Crafted Armor and Weapons will be very customizeable for performance in PvP or PvE. Also, you will be able to craft your Guild Cities and the like.
5. Not sure what you mean.
6. It is P2P, so yes, a monthly fee of roughly 15$. Prices differ in Europe though.
Hope this helps. |

Yes thank you that helps very much. What I meant by player freedoms .. is it linear progression or can you do things in any order you want? I hate games that try to make you do what they want you to do rather than letting you decide what youw ant to do in the game. |

Originally posted by devilisciousThere is a sort of linear "Tutorial" at the start. If you play focussed on getting out of there you can breeze through that part quickly, though you will be missing quite a few nicely done quests. All throughout the levelling process, you have the "Destiny Quest", which is a sort of epic, 1-80 spanning quest series which will let you get in touch with the world.
Apart from that....I suppose you can do whatever you want in any way you want and -can- Depending on your advancement, and your team/guild. |
