Thats because AoC isn't based around PvP. It's really about being able to do as you please. Its based around adventure, not fighting with other players. Warhammer and AoC are completly uncomparable in my opinion because there are two tottaly diffrent game experiances, If you want non-stop pvp, play WAR, but if you want to chill every once and a while from all the PvP bull, then play AoC. The bad thing about WAR is if their PvP sucks, their game shall crumble.

Isn't there alot of instanced areas and pathing problems. This seems to take away the adventure and explore feel. Something i was looking forward to. I haven't played beta so I don't really know how restrictive it is but it is a turn off for me big time.

Sadly yes. The last patch solve some of the problem. But created many new. Currently I will try on a third machine later on.

You can see my specs below but I can run the game with 30-50fps anywhere on high settings and 2x anti-aliasing. Can't wait for this to come out personally.

Everything will be fixed eventually, currently they are addressing performance issues, and hopefully they will be able to make a few more by launch.

As for PvP/spawncamping/whatever, restrictions will most likely be put in place some time in the near future.

Pain is fear leaving the body..

I believe this weekend is a free for all PvP so areas that you go will be like this. I do not think you have to play on a FFA PVP server when it launches.

To me the pvp felt lifeless and truly boring. A bunch of chars all jumping around was driving me nuts. Anyways for each their own of course, but it felt very FPS like not really epic feeling at all. I know when BK are fought over it will feel more Epic, but until i find anything remptely close to the epic feel i had in DAOC during a RR or hell even some keep takes/defense, i ll stick to DAOC. Thank god mythic is making some new MMO not sure what it s called again :)
