I am hoping some beta testers have the same rig as me and can advise how its running on their system. My rig as it stands:
8800 GT 512 Nvidia 2 gig of Corsair Ram Creative sound card X-FI SLI -32 Asus mobo 10k rpm hdd
I am going to buy 2 more sticks of RAM soonish so I guess you could have 4 gig up on that list. Anyone else have a similar system and will it run at medium setting? I may just buy another 8800 GT and hook them up but thats a whole lot of power being pushed through the Power unit |

i have 8600gts dual core 1.8 E6300 and 2 GB ram On high settings i got between 20 / 30 fps in busy places On medium i got 30 / 55 fps and on low 45 / 70 fps Now there where spikes and lags here and there..but these for the most part have been explained along the way if you been keeping up with the the forums any. I personaly will prob run on low settings because the game still lokks god damn brilliant......only thing to adjust is disatnce for render which didnt seem to agffect my fps much at all when adjusted right up. |

Thanks for the info. I am expecting spikes but that should be sorted relatively quickly like most new releases. Just wanted to make sure my system wouldnt be barely breaking minimum. At least if I do upgrade further it will be a bonus....damn 23rd seems a long way off now :(

I run very smooth on medium settings since the patch friday. Thats around 50-100 other peeps aswell with no lag at all.

The extra 2 gigs should make you well-off. I think 2 gigs might get bogged down a lot more with AoC(though I have 4, so what do I know |

Good point... I have a dual 4800 AMD processor. Tempted to upgrade again but I should be fine still. I am a tech junkie so I tend to upgrade every 6 months at the latest. |

I have a Athlon X2 3800+ windsor, Gigabyte M57SLI-S4 mobo, 5GB DDR 800, Got a 9600GT card (512) on the way, 1.4tb drive space (sata 3gb/s drives), 22inch widescreen and 19 inch 4:3, Vista Ultimate 64bit (Aero off and all non-essential system processes shutdown) I should get decent frames with this setup? |
