Hey and thanks in advance.

Right now im at AMD Athlon 64 X2 duo core processor and was wondering if that is a stable processor to run this game.

2nd off, I have 450$ and am looking to purchase a nice video card to run this and needed suggestions on what to get.

3rd I am at 2 gigs of ram right now, how important is 4 gigs? and how much do you think it would run me to upgrade from 2gigs to 4?

1) what Athlon 64 X2 is it.

2) get a 3870x2 its the best card you will get :p one of the best in the market.

3) most games recomend 2gb of ram now. but it is alwasy good to have more. ram is pretty cheap. it depends what ram you get. ram as cheap as $40 ,,,,, or $200 for better quality ram... (better at overclocking ect ect... )

You have no idea what OS he/she is running but tell them to get more RAm,you have no idea what gfx card they support and also they can dual them but you advise 2x3870 cards and say they are the best(lol at that alone),you have no info but advise the upgrade I call that dribble.

sorry I am mis-reading somewhere but again you are still giving info on a system you know nothing about,why more RAM if the owner is using XP?and again why is that card the best for that system?you dont know anywhere near enough info to advise what you did that is just costing someone money.

Sorry to say Grey... But it is somewhat dribble.

AMD X2 should generally run the game fine as its more of a Video/RAM killer.

For videocard, minimum I would suggest is 8800GT. If your wanting to spend $400~ on a card, then a 9800 or 9600x2 (Also buy a aftermarket cooler as all 45nm chips run EXTREMELY hot and WILL lower the cards lifetime).

If you were in the OB then you could run the game fine with 2GB as it mainly instances for those levels and wasn't to hard on RAM but come lv30 with new non-instanced areas, 4GB would be recommended. Something I should point out though is that Windows XP 32/64 does support 4GB with PAE (Athlon X2 should have that support). As for the price, I just picked up 4GB Mushkin 4-4-4-12 800Mhz PC6400 for $80 and these babies can OC to 950Mhz stable!

you can use 3.25 gb of ram in xp...so he can still have 4gb...but not all of it will be used...

i didnt say it is the best card for his system...i said its one of the best cards out atm

What type of motherboard you have, your operating system (xp or vista and if it is 32bit or 64bit), your PSU etc.
