Yes, now please welcome Vlad Vlad. |
I have a couple questions about these two aspects of AOC
1) How does your guild get a keep? is there a limited about of keeps in the game?
2) Once you have a keep can the enemy just log on at 5 in the morning and take it from you while your guild is sleeping? Is keep PVP instanceD?
3) How can you make a player made city? do you need a guild? is it instanced? is there a limited amount of cities that can be made? Can other guilds TAKE Your city?
Thanks>3 |

I copied and pasted this from Averys' post : Thanks Avery :) Constructing a Guild City

Keep Tier 1: Tier 2: Tier 3: The Keep is the heart and soul of the village. This building must be built to claim an area as yours, and, without it, no other buildings can be raised. It is vital to protect the keep during sieges. You may lose your entire village if your keep is destroyed in battle. The keep is upgradable, providing many more benefits as you put more resources into it.
Temple
The Temple is a sanctuary for all those who have devoted themselves to the gods. In here, among hushed voices, wise priests have learned how commitment to their deity protects them in battle and grants certain invulnerability to harmful magic.

Good on paper. Whats yet to be seen is how you reserve the land, and where guilds are located. Nothing would kill this more, then having several guild halls within a minutes walk of eachother (just offscreen, for example). It would diminish the whole feel of land ownership, and degrade into sardines in a can. |

1. Your guild has to have a level 3 city in order for it to have a keep and yes there is a limited amount i think its like 8 or something but there are also towers scattered around for less powerful guilds 2. No the other guild and your guild have to set up the siege at a specific time in order to get its city taken over, and i dont think siege pvp is instanced although i am not sure on that 3. Yes you do need a guild and yes it is instanced, there is no limit to cities and other guilds can not take your city although you will often have to defend it against npcs i believe, and to make it you have to gather lots of resources This is what i've read i would provide links but i dont feel like looking for them again, hope this info helps you |
