AoC is instanced, zoned and LINEAR way beyond TORTAGE.

That is the truth. And a dissappointing one. You cant enter a bar without a loading screen. And when you do, you are all alone with your npcs.

I found open beta sorta fun. But realizing keeps will be instanced, at least for the sieges, that border kingdoms doesnt hold much acc. to official word, and as a casual player I might get to do a siege once a month IF I AM LUCKY or not at all..

So what is there to do? Running down these preplanned little paths? To only zone from place to place and run your quests?

I miss pre cu / nge SWG a lot now. I realize it will never come back, but this game is so linear I am beginning to regret my CE preorder and the early play registered...

I am not even sure I bother any more... I tried to stay positive since beta... even wrote a few positive posts... but it is everything I feared it would be ... pretty and empty with no "roleplay" to it ... hardly anything massive...

BS. I have entered a ton of taverns and inns in the beta and often got attacked in them by other players since for drunken brawling it switches on pvp flag in there.

The zones are huge after Tortage, I speak from first hand experience. Huuuuuuge.

All I can say is that your message is quite misleading to people that didnt get a chance to play beyond lvl 13. The game world opens way up after Tortage. And bars are not single player instances. As to raids and Seiges... I know that we in my guild plan on doing them all the time. Of course seiging is on a timer so that is a limiter. We also accomodate "casual " gamers.  The term instance when used in AOC is different than most games. Instances contain many player but allow for crowd control, meaning than no particular earea is to overloaded with players.

Gratz for getting psychic abilitites and being able to tell what end-game is going to be like based on the newbie levels...but you should go get your money back because your psychic abilities suck.

Oh and nice sig, I'm so F'in happy I know what kind of case you have, that's soo sweet, I can't even begin to tell you how much better I feel knowing this tid bit of information.  Oh and that's a sweet power supply, 850w, wow, what a beast.  Seriously, that's a great sig, I think I'm going to make one like that because I know there are hundreds, maybe thousands or even millions of people out there that want to know what kinda of cooling system I have on my cpu.

I guess those who were not in the old days of SWG can never understand what open world means truly. It were indeed great days with the cities and houses just OPEN and VAST planets to roam free. Great days, alas gone now. They also forever formed my ideas of a MMO. *sigh*
