Age of Conan

Im the type of player that prefers a class that isnt well known. Perhaps difficult to master its abilities. And definitely is the least seen around.

What would you all suggest this class is ? Im personally leaning toward a caster class, possibly demonologist as Im guessing it might not be as popular as the rogue types or other caster classes.

I can see Priest of Mitra being the least played. They also have spellweaving. Necro, Demo, Barb, Assassin, and by far Ranger are the most played. Bear Shaman might get on the list since its a decent melee/healer hybrid.

I think over the course of all of the discussion that it seemed that there were people who wanted to actively be a demonologist.

is the priest of Mitra the class I read about that is probably the best pure healer in the game ? Ive never played a healing class (except in CoH) much.

Can one solo with this class ?

theres only 12 classes and i saw loads of all of them in beta-none were "rare" so to speak

12 classes and tons of people- you will have to wait til launch for an answer-since everyone was playing everyclass in beta to try em all out

im sure there will be a weak or underpowered class at launch and it will prob be the least played until a class balance patch is released

But like i said i saw lots of every class in beta so thats a hard one---healers are always needed tho :P

if priest of mitra is rare, I could see myself playing it just so Im sought after as the single best pure healer in the game (at least thats how funcom lists them).

Problem though is most MMO's, healer types are slow to level and sometimes just plain need help as solo play is tough

Herald of Xolti will probably be the least played in the long run. It's pretty popular at the start, but it's not an easy class to play as 75% of the time you have the squishiness of a cloth-wearing caster and some weak damage output. The other 25% of the time you are a powerful meleer with no need of weapons or armor--and then your 30 seconds of glory are over, so time it well!

I predict it will be the most abandoned and neglected (by the players at least) class of all unless the length of time one can transform is either extended or better offensive/defensive capabilities are offered for the human form.

PoM have strong attacks. FunCom hasn't gimped any class in any aspect really. If you spec into healing, your going to heal like a beast. If you spec into damage your going to do damage like... a beast.

I loved the PoM...disliked the Herald a great deal.

HoX definitely wont be the least played. At Lv20 they were powerful and required a bit more clicking than say Ranger or Assassin but later in the levels you will see much improvement with the class. I doubt anyone leveled a HoX beyond 21 in the OB.

yes but the question remains, will a healing specced priest be rare ? I want to be sought after for guilds, groups, and raids
