MMORPG Character Monuments ...When its time for your character to take a well deserved rest... |
So, I was adding in AoC to the MMORPG Finder. part of the database is reviewing how many Online gold sellers there are for each game. I was very much expecting that every gold seller would be taking orders and offering AoC currency. Surprisingly not the case. Only about 3 in 10 are. Of course, I dont expect this to last...I give it 4 days. Still, best to enjoy the virgin economy while we can. |

i just hope they find a way to keep gold farmers out. Like limit trial accounts not being able to send tells or spam Global etc. Just some way to kill the account if it starts spamming sh*t. |

It will be intresting to see how the econ plays out in AoC, I'm not really woried one way or the other, it does seem every new MMO comes up with some new method to limit or control the problem but as we know farmers come up with new ways to get around it. . . perhaps sooner or later it will become more of a pain to farm and turn a profit than its worth. . . are we there yet? I think not but its a nice dream. |

Im sure on a ffa pvp server there will be groups of people just looking for farmers. If for nothing else just to make their lives difficult. |

PvP servers are a griefers paradise. However, depending on how big the market becomes, we just not be able to control them all. If the gold price is right (and high), you may find that they hunt in groups too. Also, remember that they dont care about integrity of the game. They will use hacks, mods, exploits...whatever. I doubt it will be as easy as a straight up fight.
Still, Im all for trying |
