Age of Conan

I'm just interested in who is joining the PVP servers and which one.  I'm not interested if your joining a PVE server.

as of right now I'm looking to join Bane.

Honestly, I fear that PvP servers are not for me. I played on one in beta and at least fore the first 30-40 levels the zones really are made for grief and ganking. This is good for some, but as I look to my own enjoyment of a game ...just not the right fit for me.

However I believe there will be a significant number who will enjoy these servers. I do worry that the roleplayers who generally dont play on PvP servers may be in for a bit of 'culture shock'.

The reason why it interest me is because I feel like you can really get real enemies and real allies.  People who will police the server and people to trust. 

I came from UO, so that is an important issue for me, I want it to feel real and feel as if I truly have friends to call for help.

I sure hope the Pvp-rp server will have active GMs. Not like the game with many names.

Been playing Lotro for about 2 months and the RP server i just wonderfull. Otherwise i'm thinking of joining a pve server.

Cimmeria

I was planning to go with Bane or Cimmeria.

I'll probably be playing Bane... I'm not positive in how different either the two server types will be, other than for naming policies, but I'll probably start on the strictly PvP servers. I might move to Cimmeria with another class once I learn a little bit more about the server types and how they plan to implement "RP" in this game.

I would like to join Cimmeria, but I don't want to be FORCED to rp.  I know it sounds weird.  But I like it for the community.  I'll RP in world chat, but in global chat I don't want to be force to RP, it just doesn't feel right when you don't have text bubbles. 

Going for the RP-PVP here cause i believe it will have a more balanced and mature community. I dont mind following those few rules to be apart of that community.

I would like to join Cimmeria, but I don't want to be FORCED to rp.  I know it sounds weird.  But I like it for the community.  I'll RP in world chat, but in global chat I don't want to be force to RP, it just doesn't feel right when you don't have text bubbles. 

 

 

I believe that I read somewhere that you can talk however you want in private tells and guild chats.  But, if you are goofing off in any sort of team, group, general and someone takes offense, you are subject to consequences.
