"As you think, so shall you become"

Funcom offered a service to allow players to play the game before official launch. Your giving them your time to beta test the launch. It is not and was never meant to be an official headstart, but more of an official launch beta tester. You paid them for the bandwith to download the client.

We paid for a service. We are now their customers, not unpaid volunteers.

Anlar is right, we spent money on Early Access, therefore they should give us what we paid for. Although most of us would forgive them for postponing it...we still paid for something, its not like Funcom chose the Early Access people.

Clench all you want, it''s still going in.

I have to disagree. People paid $5 for early access, weather it was cited as being used to cover bandwidth costs or not.

However, I hardly see 3 hours as being the end of the world, and I fail to see how people didn't expect something of this nature.

I mean, come on....it's an MMO launch.

early access is a service, not a privilege.

I purchased the box version from a retail store and cant play until the 20th. if someone bought the game and had no idea the game wasn't even playable yet, do they get some sort of pass?

Not when you pay 5 clams to get in, I'm puzzled how they used much bandwith on a P2P client. Ok they had to set the server up and seed but once that file is being shared between players it dont cost Funcom a dime. People have paid so for those people, in my opinion, it becomes a right as soon as Funcom take their cash.

I paid for early access on 17th, not starting at 5pm OR 8pm... 00:01 AM  !!!
