The AoC-US-EarlyAccess executable opens and says "initializing" but then after a few seconds, it says "unable to connect to the network"

 

What gives?

Still...execute "AoC-US-EarlyAccess" file and all I see is "Initializing" and then "Unable to connect to the network - please try again later"

Anyone have ideas?

Sorry but maybe I have the wrong problem...

 

Tried this again by trying to even re-download DirectX. But when I execute that download, I get the same "Failed to Initialize". Sigh

 

Any wizzes that might have insight?
