I'm waiting for the 4870's to come out, myself - I have 1950pro which is probably comparable to the 3600. it runs the game fine but I'd love to run the game on max with AA .. I guess I have to wait since the 3870 are not that much better. |

Well, I just went out and preordered/received a copy from (gs) , there were enough people in this thread and others that gave me a story saying that this game has improved enough that it's going to be what funcom promised and what most of us hoped it would be that I decided to give it a go. I really think the combat at least the melee aspects of it are very well done and I enjoyed the universe they used for the game. I dont expect a bug free game, just the beta client I played right at release of the file planet client was just bad, and hopefully the 'miracle' patches crusher and other have cited are really that because this game has potential to be great. Hope to see you guys in game tomorrow. |

The game runs near perfectly for me, I have only come across one serious issue and you can easily keep yourself away from it(Pyramid in Stygia). |

Game become a lot better after lvl 20 than it was before. Instead of being railroaded along a strict plotline (which is fairly fun the first time) then you can no go out and do what YOU want to do in a fairly open world with far more adventure than you can ever hope to experience on one toon. So far it looks like you need to play 3 different character to be able to try out all the content while lvling. |

Yeah, after the pvp weekend ... the idea of a smooth launch seemed far fetched. I know they reported a couple of problems, but personally, I've had absolutely no problems running the game on my machine. Which I would rate as being mid-low level... I've had 0 crashes over the weekend, during which time I spent about 10 hrs on the game. I dont know what they did, but they did a helluva job in getting the game relatively bug-free and running smoohtly in just a few weeks. Will try to hop back on tonight when the servers are up - I can only presume it'll be even better after the updates tonight (though tomorrow might be a big ... crowded). |
