So, I've been waiting for this game for a while. I checked out the minimum requirements, and I compared it to mine, it looked ok. I bring it home, install it, patch it, and I can't even get the log in to pop up to log in.
Can anyone help me with this? It seems to be trying to run the game at it's fullest. Is there any way to lower the graphics?

locate the game folder on your hard drive, click on "Simple Config" - from there click on Verify / resource and let it do its thing - start the patcher up again and see if there is anything else to be downloaded. I had the same situation on one PC. Also whilst in Simple Config, click dx9 and low settings. (you can chage these in game to get required results) |

Also seems I'm a bit shy of disk space. Gonna remove a few programs to get that in order.
I did the "can you run it" test, and that's the only thing that failed.

Yea it should unpack to about 24gb ish. Try a defrag after, and double check you got the latest drivers for your video card too. Good luck hope it works for you |

Can you post your system specs so we can have a look, i would not believe the Sys specs on the box they are not exactly accurate hopefully we can resolve the issue for you. |

Looking that up now. Oh, by the way, this computer has vista. And it does pop up asking me to download a service pack. Is this advisable? If this has been the problem all along, I will feel stupid.
