I have started and quit CoH/CoV several times over the years. It's great in short bursts, but one thing I complained about all of the time that i though was just silly is why the hell don't they have what level your missions are in the mission window! I can't tell you the number of times I have gotten a good group together, travelled through 4 zones to a mission and go inside and realize everyone in there is gray! Talk about an instant group killer! Everyone usually leaves at that point.

Finally, next issue they're putting mission lvls in the mission display window! Can I get an amen?!?!

The QoL upgrades in I12 are huge this issue...now if they could just get a Profile chest like in guildwars to share inf/enhancements and a decent mail system to transfer enhancements and influence.

**edit - they also adding the following:

Changed /ignore and /gignore functionality. Using either command will ignore that user on all global channels as well as all local characters and any new characters they create.

That means you can ignore any gold farmer hopping on and spamming with any of their toons!!!

Trial Accounts now have the following restrictions.  Characters on Trial Accounts may not:

  • Hold more than 50,000 Influence/Infamy
  • Join a Supergroup
  • Use any chat other than /local, /team,or /friend.
  • Invite characters into a Team (although Trial Account characters can join a team)
  • Use In-Game Mail
  • Level up past level 14
  • Enter any PVP Zone

Another blast at gold farmers. Usually by level 14 you can tell if your going to stick with the game. I disagree with the invite characters into a Team.

“Game Experience May Change During Online Play” is about ESRB ratings, not changing game content!

When I've played, I didn't find an issue with gold farmers myself. Is this new?

Depends on how long ago you played -- with the introduction of the Wentworth's consignment house, farmers suddenly had new motivation to infiltrate the game.  I never found it to be that bad.

I'm on the Infinity server and at least 3 or 4 times a night I'll get either spammed by tells, in broadcast and in the ingame mail.

Due to the influx of gold farmers spamming their services, they have also made it that you can't send mail till after level 10. Not that it's been used much for anything.

Due to the "success" of farmers in That Other Game, they are diversifying their business.

The may not invite to team for trial accounts was to address this issue.  I'd be in LFG and get an invite, I would accept thinking it's my taskforce finally only to find it's a lvl 1 named djkdljkd spamming me with buy inf ads.

Though I'm sure the global ignore feature has really irritated the farmers too.   GOOD!

I'd like to say, having all of the different power trays is pretty sweet. ( ' :
