How about this... Your opinion is of no use to anyone if you played for less than a week.
Thanks. |

To some extent, what Tyron said is the fact. I agree with your conclusions of the shortcomings of this game. So the best policy is to choose another game~~ |

Author of this thread has no idea what is he writing about and is probably overdosing his meds as well. I've played many other games out there, but only fom has give me the unique experience I was looking in all the other games I've played to date. It sure isnt perfect but no game is, thats why they are called "games". if you're looking for something even more realisting, with lower pings, better graphics and all the other shit you think that FOM lacks... well then punch yourself in the head and go outside, try that scenario for once. Some cartoonish games are like WoW are there for everyone to play them and be good at them. Games like fom get you sucked in for the thrill of action and diversity in them... but at no point it is said you will be good at it. Its like with rl... most guys are whiners and loosers. |

"It''s just a game, always remember that!" -Unknown Gamer |
I don't care what anyone says.... I loved this game! I think a lot of people would agree with me on that heh I can see why most people would think the game sucked but to me it had a lot of things that no other MMO had and that alone made it great to me. I can't wait until it's released again, I know I will pay to play it! |

This game was the only game to keep my attention for 3 years on and off. Yes, it had nothing to do at times.. and I made a few suggestions myself about adding some form of content, but this game was still the only game I ever really enjoyed. So much that I can't even find an enjoyable game/mmo to play now. Yesterday, I spent about an hour searching for a game to waste a little time on. I was sifting through lists of real-time strategy games, turn-based strategy games, online games, and multiplayer games. First off, there were four game settings in all of those lists. Medieval fantasy with armor, arrows, elves, and magic. Medieval historic with armor, arrows, horse back knights, and trebuchets. Historic 'through the ages' type games with cavemen, archers, musketeers, and riflemen protecting huts, castles, and military bases. Space flight combat/colonization. As if I wasn't bored enough of EVE already.
Not to mention the amount of times I realized I hated MMO's after searching for multiplayer/online games on google. Hello, I don't want to try any of these lackluster bullshit generic mmos about fantasy elves flailing their magical attacks in the direction of pretty blond humans in a merry party of Dwarven axe men. I don't give a shit if you can raise your own pet or become possessed by a beast. Its all the same shit. Over and over again.
In these new mmos, you start the game and immediately talk to the NPCs around you. You get a quest and head out into the field to kill magical monsters so you can level up to have boring PvP that is more random than anything. You attempt to stun the target, you miss. You attack for 32 damage. Player attacks you for 35 damage. You attack for 11 damage. Player misses you.
FoM was different. It had freedom. Sure, a lot of things could have been added to it to make it more exciting, but it was still better than most games on the MMO market.
Now, in order for FoM to survive, they have to make it into a generic leveling game. Hence Elementum, guild w | |
