Yup, calling it Vanguard 2 is wrong because, as was said earlier in this thread, VG has no instances...

 

Maybe it's time for us to dust off our old VG boxes and enter a seamless world? Old-school MMO style ftw!

I like Vanguard... I'm thinking about going back for another stint to see what's going on. :)

I think they knew exactly what they were doing by withholding that kind of info.  Praising their game to the high heavens as  "the PvP alternative" to other mmo's on the market, then on the same hand have the game designed to nullify any serious world pvp by allowing instant getaways by instance hopping...I think they made the wisest decision they could have made by keeping quiet about that that shadowy shim shammery.

If they told us how it was going to *actually* go down, alot of money in sales would have been forfeit, just by that principle alone.

It's like saying "Here is the most realistic simulation of Sport Fishing ever made!  You will be +blown out of the water+ by the high level of detailed realism of the fish scales!  NO GAME EVER MADE has shinier fish scales!  If you are tired of the same old same old fishing simulators well let me you that this is your chance to pick up a  fishing simulator that keeps it reel and kicks other sport fishing simulators in the bass hole!"   And then when you purchase the game and install it...you realize that all of the fish just suddenly zone out of your instanced pond after stealing all the bait off your hook...and there's nothing you can do about it!  No fishing solution for you!  In a game they claimed was the premier fishing simulator nonetheless.  Classic bait and switch move on Funcom's part.

But..Please..There is no real proof for this, but do you honestly think FUNCOM will leave a chance for people to exploit in PVP and PVE..They will fix this instant zone change..until then this part of the game should be considered broken IMH..

they were prolly talking about the instancing of the destiny quests that make it so its pretty much singleplayer for the quest chain. But somebody as smart as you would have easily of figured this out and would have never made a pointless thread that makes you look like a run of the mill troll.

Yes, this is close, but instead of having the entire world cloned 20 times it usese this system per/zone..
