Why do some think they have the right to tell others not to buy the game....seriously...how do they think they are, cos you didn't enjoy the game...dosnt meant you have the right to tell others not to buy it,,,

just unistall the game and go back to whatever game you where playing

I don't recommend this game to anyone who doesn't have a recent gaming machine. This game is not very forgiving to computers more than a year or so old. Even at low settings.

If you have to ask "is my computer good enough to play AoC", you might be able to play the game and enjoy leveling to 80. But how are you going to enjoy endgame when you are questing at 10-15 fps.

And if your comp can't perform that well you have to decide if the game is fun enough to shell out a bunch of money for an up to date machine? Imo, it's not. You may as well wait til funcom fixes a lot of AoC's problems then check the game out.

If it's good then, you can get a better computer in the future than you can now.

I believe that if the silent majority of people playing and enjoying this game (aside from some of the obviously bugs needing a fix) would come to these forums and post why they like the game, etc ... the forums would be too slow to open or read.

dont let the doomsayers bug ya.

Also dont let the people who legitimately dont like the game bug ya either.  They have legit reasons but they are not as many as those that like the game and will give it a chance to improve the obvious flaws it still has.

Traders have to be working soon!!! LOL

I am enjoying the game tremendously...no hitches, no crashes, few bugs (if any), and everyone I play with regularly feels the same...but am I gonna try to convince anyone to play it?  No.  Not worth the headache.

its human nature. Im sure youve done it before yourself.

Dont ever tell me you never ate a shitty taco or cheeseburger somewhere and told a friend they shouldn't eat there or got crappy service with a cable internet company and then told a friend to watch out.

It's a common occurence just not localized within people who are upset that people dont like a MMO they like.

And creating a thread like this will do nothing productive whatsoever and is just as bad as someone starting a thread saying the game sucks and people who play it suck.

agreed. I used to stress over the trolls and doomsayers here...but after seeing the tremendous popularity of the game, and the fact that all day in OOC i hear people raving about how great the game is...I'm not too worried about a few losers trolling a forum.

And no....contrary to popular belief, you DON'T need a new system to play this. I built this machine 3 or 4 years ago....I upgraded the video card somewhere along the line to an X1650 pro, but other than that it's the same machine it was when I put it together.

Genuine people are those who feels that they do not like the game and give their reason why they do not like it.
