Patience is a virtue, reason a necessity |
Originally posted by Sevensodd Its a term, that means more then 1 person can play with you in an online game at its base, however when you have many many people hundreds or thousands or if you play WoW millions, that where you get the massively from. Its not exactly hard to digest. |

Does the game take place on the interweubs? Yes. Is there a multiplayer component? Yup. Quit griping, you CAN play in groups, instances or no. Are there a lot of people playing? 400,000 subs (if that's accurate) is a lot. |

When people say MMo it is refering to the style of game being a massivly multiply online experience. Whether it is a game or what have you. That is why people simply stop at MMo as there are a lot of MMogs and MMorpgs, even chat rooms now can be considered MMo etc.... Just a generic term for the style in which it interacts with others over the internet. |
