What is your reason that make Tabula Rasa suck?

what makes you think tabula rasa suck?

what is the reason you think tabula rasa suck?

my reason: they scrap the original game. i like the previous style of the game cause the clothing, armors, atmosphere and everything just look alot better than ordinary starship trooperish. also  female armors shows alot of skin... but then they revamp and make female all clothed up and all with short hair.

"Cursed Be Iron."

I never thought showing some skin in futuristic scifi mmorpg could become issue.

Don''t Panic!!!!

I don't know if I would use "sucks" but its not a very good MMO, thats for sure

My reasons

  • Very linear / scripted / on rails
  • Grind-tastic, more or less killing 10 space pigs, 10 space bugs or 200 space orcs
  • Too Zoney
  • Didn't like the class system.
  • No vehicles - essentually you are running around on foot from place to place just like a typical fantasy game.
  • not very "epic" feeling. Running from "tent base" to kill space pigs...not so much.
  • No air or Space vehicles / classes / areas
  • Convoluted - incomplete and jacked up crafting / economy at launch
  • Art was pretty uninspired

Really the only thing it offers is some missions. Everything else gameplay wise is about as ho-hum as any other grinder. Actually it didn't feel much different from something like Silkroad Online or any number of other raw grinders to me. All in all it was pretty tiresome from the start. What took them so long to make this game is beyond me.

Its not bad if are looking for something to click around on the side.

Enemy Territory - QuakeWars offers the same basic scenerio but with better gameplay and a much large / more complete scope of play (land & air vehicles) and its against other players not endlessly spawning brain dead AI mobs.

PLANETSIDE> Tabula Rasa

All those that like Sci-Fi PVP action... Planetside is the game to get it. Fine it doesn't have much of a story but now they have merged the servers the POP LOCK battles are back.

Still keep going back to this game after 5+ years =D

It is the lack of official forums.

So I have to trawl through tons of crap on third party forums from American teenagers who stopped playing in beta but still thinks that the world cares what they say.

I agree that the lack of official forums is a huge negative. It's not the reason that TR sucks but it certainly doesn't help the situation.

After this experience I will no longer play a game that doesn't provide official forums.

In my opinion, TR feels like part of a game.  It just feels like there is something missing to make it 'complete'.

“Game Experience May Change During Online Play” is about ESRB ratings, not changing game content!

I felt no attachment to the story or my character.

I just didnt like the combat. Point with my mouse and click...boooooring. Oh and right-click to do a special.....booooooring.

Too linear, I wanted to go out and explore. Instead I was forced to follow a path right away.

Not my cup of tea at all frankly

My reason is the unfocused feel I get from the dev team.

They make hasty, broad, game sweeping changes, with little to no testing, and even less consideration to what the community provides for feedback. they make promices they don't keep, and they are contiuously rehashing things they've changed recently.

I get frustrated that they are wasting time, man power and resaorces on something, that only 2 patches (2 months) later they are again wasting time, man power, and resorces on to change again.

All the while not addressing glaring, broken game elements.

I used to say the game has potential. Now I say they've ruined the game and lost so much money, there's no hope. NCsoft didn't even mention it in the Q1 report. A 6 month old game?? That's a bad bad *coughautoassaultcough* sign.
