Haven't read any posts here but., my 5 cents to the OPs question is. I don't want it to die. Please let the majority of the Wow community stay right where they are. |

People constantly struggling to the top just to have the top dropped down and a new top created. It is rather genius, and even though I absolutely hate WoW now and think blizzard screwed the pooch on it I don't think it will die due to the endless amount of nonsense content they can add that was just in the latest dungeon now given to all. I still remember playing WoW a year after release and finding lvl 60's who didn't know that MC existed. People are just ignorant and enjoy the cartoon easy feel and over all easiness of the game. What more can you expect. |

Mmorpgs generally don't die- they always have subscribers. And WC3 still has players today, so that will likely be a future WoW scenario. So when will WoW start to decline is a better question. The answer is when people start getting bored, past what WoW can provide with freshness in terms of their expansions. They're still on their second expansion.. Maybe at a guess, a few years after this latest expansion or sometime after the third or forth. Additionally, it should be noted that new players outnumbering the players leaving buoy up the subscribing figure. So when the number of new players start dwindling that should also be a pointer when the mmo may have reached I think 'maturity' is the stage. |

Lol, good saying, you're only a victim though if you let the title victimize you. |

Warhammer Online will probably bruise WoW pretty bad and then WoW will make bad decisions in trying to get new content in the game to combat the WAR epidemic and then players will be disappointed leading to a slow painful death of WoW. Just a thought.......lol |

It's dead to me. It's a nice lil mainstream mmo, but there's always a better game then wow out there for you personal preferences. The world was fun right up until BC when they just said, it's time to milk this for every last penny. |

WoW Will die when they are making enough money to support the servers, thats when they will actually pull the switch.
WoW has a very young player base, and most play under their parents rules, Ruling out games like Warhammer, or Age of conan because of the ratings.
Age of conan fucked it self up because they released it wayy to early to begin with, giving promises that werent true.
