I couldn't agree more, it is a much needed change. Hellgate London tried, but well we know what that turned out like. I'm looking forward to it. |

So far I've seen only Fantasy, Historic or Sci-fi MMORPGs. This could be the first well-known MMORPG to u se the present time and real places. You know, it wouldn't be half bad, an MMO where you play as some policeman, or a US marine, or just an insane catholic priest! |

I still have a chip on my shoulder about AO, but even with that Funcom has been learning over the years. They managed to make a very successful and stable launch with AoC, now granted its instance and that is what turned me off, but maybe once again Funcom will learn from this and take this knowledge into this new mmo. I really do hope they make it appealing and an open world. Brings me joy to hear such news. |
